THE BOZZETTI MUSEUM
The Bozzetti Museum The Bozzetti Museum
Founded in 1984 thanks to the initiative of Danish art critic Jette Muhlendorph, the main aim of this museum was to document the work of versilian artisan workers, who worked mainly with marble, the most popular material amongst versilians since the 14th century.
The museum is located next to the former convent Sant’Agostino and boasts a collection of over 600 busts and sculptures belonging to both Italian and international artists, which are mainly carved of chalk.
