The well-known seaside resort of Marina di Pietrasanta boasts a beautiful sandy beach, stretching almost 5 km in length and nearly 200 m wide in some places. The beach is ideal for families, as the water remains shallow until quite far out.
Marina di Pietrasanta envelops the villages of Focette, Motrone, Tonfano and Fiumetto, which offer beautiful parks and gardens, magnificent villas, hotels, tennis courts, bars and restaurants. The area is also well known for it’s active nightlife. Tonfano is the heart of the area.
Between Fiumetto and Forte dei Marmi lies the Versiliana Park, abundant in pine groves and at the centre of which is a villa that was once home to D’Annunzio. The park hosts the summer Versilian festival, which provides a cultural program packed full of fun activities.
